I put a very small bevel around the profile of the scales so it didn't cut through the top layer of the ACU pattern, and to improve ergonomics.

That looks fantastic! By the way ACU stands for Army combat uniform.. Its common to call the camouflage pattern ACU though.

yeah i'm aware of what it stands for . this pattern and type of G10 is invoiced as "ACU" G10 though from where i order it. I also manufacture "NWU" (Navy Working Uniform) Micarta myself and i just call it NWU Micarta, or composite....sometimes it's invoiced as ACU Digi-cam as well depending on where you order it from.
