Emerson SpecWar B questions

I just finished a trade with another BF member for his green G10 handled Emerson SpecWar B. Can anyone give me some info on this knife? What year is it from? What is the blade steel, ATS-34 or 154CM?

The blade steel will be 154CM, the year will probably be about 2000. I don't know if the green g-10 was maybe a special run from later on though.

IIRC green g10 was an option on the old specwars and was available whenever EKI made a run of them, i have seen more green G10 specwars than all the others combined for whatever reason, probably because the specwar didnt sell as well as say the commander, or the '7, anyway i dont know about total numbers made green per model just that i had to look when i got my green SOCFK but everyone seemed to have green specwars FWIW.

Thanks you guys :thumbup: I think I got kinda lucky with those green G10 scales. I've only seen a few Emersons with green G10 scales.
