HEY YO...

I'D LIKE TO HEAR SOME OPINIONS OF THE EMERSON TANTO FROM I&I. THE SPECS WOULD BE GREAT ALSO.

APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK, FELLAS

The I&I Tanto is probably one of the most under appreciated of the EKI production knives. Only because it's seen so infrequently.

As the name implies, the I&I Tanto is an exclusive of the I&I Sports stores. They don't seem to market it well. Link

The blade is almost a full four inch Tanto, about as close as you can come to the older BM975, but with a very cool body. The body incorperates the forward guard found on all EKI folders made after the CQC7 and the rear end is a direct desendant of the Viper custom series.

All in all, I think the Tanto is a great design. I own a plain edged version I got directly from EKI and it sees regular carry in rotation.

i have a BM 975S-BT thats about the same as an I&I, and i love it. have had it for quite a while now, and used the heck outta it, i like it much better than the std CQC7, wonder why EKI doesnt make them a std model???

The I&I is an awesome knife. I actually had mine out today looking at it. I'm thinking about getting titanium bolsters and green micarta added to it. Should be even cooler then as if it isn't cool enough as is :)

Just picked up a customized I&I tanto off e-bay as a gift for my son, bolsters, micarta & some work done on the blade. It will be a week or so before it arrives. Being new to computers, don't know how to post pics. Wondering if someone would take a look and let me know if I picked the right Emerson.

You picked up a nice one. I believe the work was done by Kevin Robinson, and was very tempted to pick it up on the forums. Just not enough cash.

You did good.
