So picked up an unused Emerson Tiger for cheap, at least comparatively so as compared to some of the prices I see online for Emersons in general. This is a sf pse model. My question is this, it has a double domed pivot front and back. Is that normal, and it is a legit Emerson as far as I can tell. Just comparing it to other Emersons I own. I just can't find any pics of the domed pivot being on both sides of the handle. thanks

The models around the 99/00 time frame did have domed front and back pivots. Shortly after that, they went to a domed slotted side and a flat other side. Within the last few years they started using double domed again. With your Tiger being a relatively newer introduced model (2013/14), I would not be shocked to see a double domed pivot. They also stopped putting dates on the blade in 2015.

I've got a little collection going now on EKI's. Mostly older ones, Roadhouse, Super Comm., and a Patriot. Thinking of adding a 11 BlackHawk too. Just haven't pulled the trigger on it. It seems I gravitate to the older ones more so than the newer issues. thanks
