Wow!! Yea, its that good. As a long time Emerson owner/fan, the Tiger is a very special knife. It combines many of other Emerson models into one knife

This Tiger will cut you just looking at it. The belly of this knife hangs much lower than the cqc8,15, etc that I am use to. I already barely nicked my knuckle and it drew alot of blood. Hands down the sharpest Emerson and maybe any knife I have ever received from the factory. Forget shaving sharp, its well past that.

Perfect lock-up and blade centering:

What can I say about the Tigers stone was finish??

I am #66

Wave is huge on this knife.

Check out that grind.

Size comparison with a non Emerson.

I felt the same way when I first received mine and did a little overview of this knife, which I almost never do. I have to agree that this is a great combo of other Emerson knives that takes what is good about those that it borrows from and makes an awesome overall knife. Gotta love that stonewash.

That low deep belly is going to make it the best Emerson skinner and hunting knife.

Great pictures! I'd have to double check but I think I got #68 :). Amazing knife but I think I still slightly favor the CSF.

Oh man, I've gotta start taking warnings seriously... I looked and now I want! Just picked up a 15 and Roadhouse... Now looking at the tiger and CSF... Anyone seen these side by side? I think I recall a post like that, but can't remember...

Thanks! Beauties, all of them! It may come down to deciding which handle I like best--roadhouse vs cqc-13... blade shapes are close, even if not exactly the same

That side by side pic just sold me on the csf. I shouldn't have looked at this thread, I just spent 2300$ on guns.

LOL!!! You were warned. Congrats on buying a 2nd Emerson!

What's sad is I opened the thread with zero intention of buying a Tiger. I was leaning towards an 8 or another Journeyman. I just wanted to see in hand pics of it. Stupid in hand pics. :D

I have a 8 and a Journeyman. Love the Tiger more than the other 2 though the Journeyman is close in size and the 8 just a tiny bit longer. The Tiger's/13's handle is better and more secure for me. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with it. I want to get a 3 one:rolleyes:.
