emerson to fill any more custom orders

wondering if you can still order any of his customs out of catalog? they way i read is no.

You are correct, at the moment, Mr. Emerson isn't taking any new orders. He made an announcement earlier this year here.

 
that means my chances of getting any of his customs for a fair price is over

I'm one of the few on this forum who cannot afford to pay the $1000+ for an Emerson custom that I'm going to carry and use. It's unfortunate that Ernie decided to stop taking orders, but it was for the best. Hopefully I'll be able to get one via a lottery at one of the shows. I hope, I hope, I hope...

Oops, crossed posts w/ John. I was fortunate enough to get an order in for a CQC 6 and 8. Just passed the 1 year mark in October. Hopefully I'll see these knives befor I'm 30 (26 now
