What is the warranty policy for Emerson knives?
I was thinking of taking my Karambit apart and having the liners anodized. Will this void the warranty?

I have also tossed the idea of heat/flame anodizing the liners myself like I did with my BM 40T. Would applying heat to the lock liner take the spring out of the locking part?

EKI has a very liberal warranty policy.

Which is why I love them.

No, it won't take the spring out... the hardening is, AFAIK, only on the surface level. There are a number of heat-anodized Ti folders on the market.
