Emerson's and Lanyards for EDC

Amici,
I have been really getting into collecting and carrying EKI knives as my EDC for a few weeks now after a long hiatus. Since the advent of the wave feature which is groovy, I've been utilizing a lanyard to give me a little extra something to grab onto when I do withdraw one.

Question is, how many other Emerson users who "wave" also utilize a lanyard when in EDC mode?

Although I think some lanyards look cool on Emersons, they're not for me. Even on my smallest Emerson, a cqc-7AW, I just use the pocket clip. There are even times when I remove the clip from my 7 and just have it in my pocket -- and even then, I don't feel the need for a lanyard.
 
I love how lanyards look on knives but hate how they hang out of pockets and generally get in the way. I was thinking abiut trying one again but I never make it past a day or so.
 
I've tried to like carrying knives with lanyards because I love the way they look. I also like making them. I just can't get used to them hanging out and being in the way.
 
I like my lanywards hanging out. I dont currently have one on my horseman just yet though. I wanna get work done to it first.
