Went to the gun show hosted by Crossroads of the West at the Cow Palace this weekend in search of Emersons amoung other items.
Only three tables had any Emerson's at all. One table had almost every Emerson production model but no WAVE's! The only knive they had with the wave was the Commander. I was looking for a CQC7a with the Wave. I got to play with an un-waved version though. Very nice. Now I'm convinced I need one. It is so much nicer than the first CQC7 I have from Benchmade (model 970s). I also wanted to see the mini models but no one had them. Most unsettling was the sales pitches I got from the sellers. I was told by two of the propriators at two seperate tables that the wave only comes on the Comanders and not the CQC7's. I didn't argue the point but was told that I was mistaken. Sounds like a BS story to get me to buy one of their stock. I'm grateful to the forum. It's a great resource due to it's members.
