Emerson's "holy grail"

Hello again my fellow anonymous heroes. In my search for the best knife made by mankind & already owning models like the Manix, SERE2000 & Police (G-10/ATS55) now I must get me a couple of Emersons. The problem is that the model I'm looking for is not available anymore: the Emerson Specwar "A" blade, plain edge, conventional V grind, black G-10 (I wouldn't mind to buy a green G-10 if I could find one). I entered in their site; seems there are many models (the Raven, the Blackbird & even the Max-1) that look almost like the Specwar A. Does anybody have one or more of them? Any photos? Any comments? Hurry up, guys, before they sent all of us to the front line!!!
 
I'm sitting on one, (and it's quite painful I might add ;) ) I managed to score one by chance, after losing my Commander the same weekend I met my now wife.

My problem is, though I tried the diamond stones, and my spydie sharpmaker, and as hard as I try I cannot get it sharpened. (no problem with the commander :( (I miss that knife))
 
the SOCFK is a better knife than the specwar FWIW, i had a specwar like ya mention and like johnnymayhem mentions it was one of the more difficult ones to sharpen, for me anyway, not impossible, difficult.

i dont really like that blade style myself in an EKI, give me tanto every time in that model,

imho there are a lot of EKIs i'd rather have than a specwar (ie CQC7,8,12,13,&SOCFK to mention a few) its just not one i was ever nutz about, an ok knife, just imho far from a holy grail, to me thats more like a suspect '6 or something like that. but to each his own.
 
HardHeart, your info was useful, but they do not ship ship internationally... Any ideas? Somebody? I really want one of those... :(
 
Well, Stu Fortunato ( www.stu711.com ) is handling getting an LCC I put up for sale here to a fellow in China. I don't know the details of the arrangement, but maybe you could contact him. He has a couple good mentions in GB&U, and I can let you know how things go with this transaction.
