Scott, I can say that I haven't enjoyed some of your sour comments, but to each their own.
There are forums here that are sponsored by companies that are not on my "A" list, but I don't go trolling there. It's good that we have choices in life. If you don't care for EKI or Ernie in particular, so be it.
If I consistently am disappointment by the meals at a restaurant, I simply don't patronize them any more. I show my disdain by spending my money elsewhere.
If I were walking into a restaurant that I happened to think was pretty good and saw some guy holding a sign up that says "The Steak Here Sucks", but then he tells me he's having a party catered by that same restaurant (due to it's popularity and good standing in the community), I gotta question that guys motives.
I have always received great service from EKI. If you have a problem with the service you have received, might I suggest you take that up with EKI. I'm sure they will make every effort to make the situation right. Failing that, might I suggest you take your hard earned dollars and shop somewhere else.
As Jackstraw has pointed out, in my opinion, Ernie's integrity is solid. He continues to deliver knives to customers that have them on order, despite many being obvious profiteers.
