emersons new website has BAD shipping habbits

4 days ago i ordered my commander from the new emerson website and paid an xtra 51 buck sto get it overnight express and still i have no commander i am pissed has anyone else had this problem?
 
Well IMHO get used to it. When it comes to Emerson the hype is way larger than the performance.

I agree with you K ROBINSON, SCOTT DOG if you dont like them you dont have to trash them. I have got 6 Emersons and love them all. THEY HAVE NEVER FAILED ME YET.

$51 for overnight shipping-man, those are some high rates!
Did they specify that they ship same day as order placed? Was the order placed early in the day, or later (west coast time) this could have delayed shipping.

If someone gave you $51.00 for overnight delivery and it took four days would you give them their money back? If and when he gets his commander you better educate him on how to keep it from falling apart. I was going to send you my CQC-7 for modification but now I bet you wouldn't take my money. Why am I here? Well I like Emersons products but I get very irritated when they treat their customers with indifference. I'm just hoping that if I ever get the custom I ordered, I won't have to keep it together with loctite. I met Ernie at a show and asked him about my custom order. He laughed at me and said that my hair will probably fall out first. Real nice guy. I have a lot of folding knives, only one of them falls apart. Let's see which one might that be?

Vizio, get your money back for the shipping. You paid for a service and didn't get it. You should get your money back. Emerson won't be out anything, because they'll get a refund on their end.

The thing that I find most unbelievable about this post is that Emerson Inc. charged $51 for overnight shipping, there is absolutley no justification for that price.
It has to be a mistake.

IMHO you should call Emerson INc. and check to see if the item you ordered was in stock and ready for shipping or was back ordered. If its back oredered it may still go out next day when its available.
As for the shipping rates? Yeah, that's a lot of money. You should ask if there are meals on that flight.

I'm really sick of these endless, trolling, griping posts. Now we have a post about complaining that the custom that the purchaser can turn around and sell for better than 3 times what he is paying for it isn't getting there quick enough, and that when it does he expects not to like it. Unfreakin' believable. Ernie's integrity is beyond reproach. He knows what his customs sell for in the secondary market and yet he honors the prices. Does he owe you a thousand dollar plus profit on your 25 dollar deposit? I think not. But he honors it because he is a man of integrity. Lighten up guys.

Scott, I can say that I haven't enjoyed some of your sour comments, but to each their own.

There are forums here that are sponsored by companies that are not on my "A" list, but I don't go trolling there. It's good that we have choices in life. If you don't care for EKI or Ernie in particular, so be it.

If I consistently am disappointment by the meals at a restaurant, I simply don't patronize them any more. I show my disdain by spending my money elsewhere.

If I were walking into a restaurant that I happened to think was pretty good and saw some guy holding a sign up that says "The Steak Here Sucks", but then he tells me he's having a party catered by that same restaurant (due to it's popularity and good standing in the community), I gotta question that guys motives.

I have always received great service from EKI. If you have a problem with the service you have received, might I suggest you take that up with EKI. I'm sure they will make every effort to make the situation right. Failing that, might I suggest you take your hard earned dollars and shop somewhere else.

As Jackstraw has pointed out, in my opinion, Ernie's integrity is solid. He continues to deliver knives to customers that have them on order, despite many being obvious profiteers.

Your points are well taken and I apologize for those that I may have offended. I will post here no longer.
 
Oh yeah, also keep in mind that besides being out of stock there are other things that may delay your order. Any problems with verification or such with the payment. Order placed on a weekend etc. I would hope that Emerson e-mails the customer a notification with the tracking number as soon as the knife is shipped. If I didn't get a confirmation quickly, I'd call them up to see what's going on. If they shipped it and you have a tracking # then by all means check up on it

Scott, by all means post here, all are welcome. But please . . Contribute, don't just try and kick peoples feet out from under them.

If there is a specific issue, please bring it forward, but the constant vague, spiteful posts have got to go brother.
