amazing what getting married will do to a fellow eh? now he can really concentrate on knifemaking. I prefer the engraving on the reverse side however. nice blade style though and the knife will be enjoyed by its owner.

Personally continue to think these knives are weak, and wonder why the rest of you don't see what I see.

They are on the heavy side, and have completely inadequate blade to handle ratio. It is basically a handle.....with a blade, rather than being a unified knife. It's one of the few pieces that I have seen that looks better closed than it does open.

AND....they are SUPER expensive. You know as well as I do that something like a Michael Walker Zipper Bladelock is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I don't see these knives enduring for the long run....it is my prediction save for a few holdouts that this type of knife, specifically from Italy will be the Barret-Smythe knife of this decade.

That said, the engraving is certainly very fine. When "enamel" is used for this description, is this actually heat fused glass, or is it a paint of some sort?

Stunning. Beautiful. Amazing. Fantastic.

Or, in one word: WOW!

Kind regards,

Jos

you can have your opinion on anything but it is nothing more than that. YOUR opinion.
to openly predict the future of Italian knifemakers is fantasy.

Danny, we both have experience to draw upon...it is that experience that informs our past, our present and our future.

You gamble at a higher dollar table than I do, but we both gamble....and we are both lucky/skilled gamblers.

Of course it is an amazing piece of art! It is what it is.... Thank you for posting it up! :D

Its a beautiful piece of art to me. If a guy is happy with his purchase than there really isnt anything else that can be said.

In my country people have fought many wars for “freedom of speech” you should try it one day…..also you should read between the lines, most of thr times when a dealer post a picture of a knife on a forum it is to attract potential buyers or to self promote their knives for a profit maybe the “real class” comment should be directed at the person who posted picture, leaving the forums to the true collectors

Freedom of speech, an oft used phrase, although few know the meaning of this principle. Freedom of speech, as it was intended by the framers, is the freedom of the people from government regulations of speech. An individual is allowed to take offense at something you say. That said, could you state your reason for disliking the knife rather than simply saying that it is "bad"?
