Killing is easy with a gun, its kinda coward IMO. But the right to bear arms is been put to jeopardy because of attackers, sadly we will soon be unable to defend ourselves against them and the arms ban won't affect them because most don't even have registered weapon.
Arms shall be for defense and food, but its getting harder and harder to make this understandable. We have to take away the hunters rifle because of a thief that used a rifle at a gas station, we have to take away the scout's Swiss Army Knife because of a gang that mugged an old folk, we have to teach that all lethal action is cool because movies say so and it is said that chicks dig it, we should start thinking and educating our future generation.
I lived in France and I'll tell you couple of stories that show how a society can be bad.
The first one was a girl that I knew very well, it was the 14th of july, national holiday everybody parading, drinking and laughing. In the middle of the crowd in the most famous street "les champs élysés" with thousands of people around enjoying the party. Well right there she was attacked by a group of 4 men who violently beat her up, stole her bag and touched her. During 10 minutes she got beat up, the attackers left her on the ground after kicking her like an old sack, she had broken ribs, contusions, black eye, broken nose, broken jaw. It is to note that the friends that were accompanying her left her alone and ran away scared, the crowd that was around her formed a circle at the beginning of the attack and watched her getting beaten. Not a single person offered her help when the attackers left, just a couple of police men on patrol alerted by a pedestrian who told them there was a fight, came to help her and bring her to the ER.
The second one is a Police officer who was at his home in the centre of town, at 3 am a group of kids were messing up the streets, awaken he went on the balcony and told them to beat off or he'll call the cops. The kids didn't stop so he yelled to them to stop immediately because he was a cop and that he and his buddy would put them away. The kids began insulting and throwing stones at the buildings, they began assaulting the people passing by in a car by immobilizing the car, stepping. The police officer took his uniform, his gun, and called for backup. He scrambled down stairs, went to the vehicle that now had its window broken, the driver was being pulled out by the window. The officer shot in the air as a warning and came running to the rescue of the driver and his girlfriend. The attackers turned there attention to the police officer and scrambled towards him, who with his gun pointed to them shot one in the ground in front of the kids as a warning shot. They didn't care because they now that police officers aren't allowed to shoot in France, so they attacked him and by the time the police arrived, he had a broken leg, a broken arm, his cheek bones shattered, his rib cage exploded. He was in the hospital for 4 months, his attackers were sentence to 2 months of jail (they were released in 2 weeks, all 9 of them), he was degraded and sent to a piss-poor destination for his next service because he was now considered a threat to civilians (lets remember he saved a boy and his girlfriend, who didn't press charges against the attackers because of the fear of vengeance). He was asked to pass a psychological evaluation because of the use of weapons against civilians (got damn it he was the good guy).
The next ones is just 2 tales of the work of a fireman in a small city that is far peaceful than the big ones. He was answering a call and they were in the fire truck, they were racing to the scene, he was in the passenger seat in front went suddenly he heard a bang, then the side view mirror flew away, than then front windshield got impacted by 2 bullets, the driver floored it and no one was hurt. The investigation led that the shooters (2 different guns) were in a trailer park from the "people of the travel" (politically correct for Gipsy), since they are protected by the good will of France, the police was not allowed in to seize the guns and make arrests because it might offend them.
The other one is the tale of responding to burning cars in a low income building complex (that are now colonized by the Arabs) when arriving the police cars blocked them because the arabs were throwing stones and all kinds of appliances such as washing machine, tvs, bed stands,.... at the previously arrived fire truck. The police could do nothing or else they were gone get get persecuted for offending them, the minority.
I left France 2 years ago at the end of my studies, I ran away from the country where I was born because I didn't feel at home anymore, Arabs and gipsys rule France now, they laugh at us and abuse us. When doing my studies I needed a room at a university because I could pay for an apartment ( 1000 $/month in paris) I was refused because the rooms are reserved for the integration of minorities (Arabs basically). I couldn't go to the university then. In the 2 last years of my stay in France I saw more and more arabs, they were stealing our jobs, our social advantages, our womens. More and more scarfs and jellabahs came into view. Police officers would skip the arabs at control points because it might offend them, but to me they gave me misery with a multitool and a 2-way radio because it had a knife and 2 way radios they think its to spy, I am a pilot its tools !!!
No body acted against this and if I opened my mouth I was told to being racist. My mother country was no more to me, I now am ashamed to be of french nationality.
If we don't educate our youth we will have lazy boys who hate work and don't have a notion of justice.
Might I say that I doubt justice when you see than a murderer gets 20 years and that Madoff gets 150 years for stealing from people that wanted to make easy money ? Since when shall theft be more punishable than murder ? Explain to a child that the person that killed got away better then the one who stole, he'll know than that its better to kill than steel, Hows that for an education ?
I'm afraid that the right to bear arms will become an illegal necessity rather than a right, Its already the case in a lot of countries. Felons don't obey the law so how should banning prevent them ?
