great to see the band getting back together.. better location close to the highway, close to the trains in brooklyn plenty of parking.

Turnout was great about 30 old members showed up and a couple of new members, next month should be even better, the new location is very convenient for NJ and SI enthusiasts, looking forward too next month's meeting, Wednesday 4/13 7PM mark your calendars. Thanks Wally

I will be there next week. I hope other NYC metropolitan area knife guys find out about our club getting back together, it would be great to get it back up to a lot of members again!!

If there are any Manhattan enthusiasts the N train is on the corner 8th Ave stop,
on the N line BMT

My old neighborhood I love it! I wish I could be there and grab a slice of Maria's on ft hamilton or a gyro from that Greek joint nearby.

So why not come over anyways?? There are guys from Jersey (one from Wayne), and I come down from Rockland County, N.Y. You may be able to car pool with somebody to make the tolls easier to take.

I'm going to have to one of these days but will raincheck. I've been up since 5am working don't have much more in me today. It's funny I've lived in Pomona in Rockland near the apple orchards as well!

That is funny, I lived in Pomona for almost 45 years, first on Camp Hill near Quaker, and for a long time down one of those long driveways down by Krucker's on Call Hollow. MY old girlfriend worked in the bakery at Conklin's orchard. I am now in Valley Cottage. Decent meeting last night a few more of the old club showed up and a couple of younger new guys which is important to the life of the club and our hobby in general. I've only gone to the new location twice, and going across Staten Island was a LOT faster than going down the thruway like I tried last night.

What! I have to get down to the old neighborhood for one of these. Remember in Pomona, that pizza shack not too far from the buses? As a teenager from Brooklyn I thought my life was over, no more Brooklyn pizza and lo and behold that little pizza shack made pies just as good!y dad allowed me to stay at my aunts house on the weekend to attend Brooklyn Tech and on the weekends I would go cycling around the golf course or ride through Nyack up to bear mountain. Fun times.
