Empress Trio Set, plus Royalty and 107 comparo

Hi folks,

At the suggestion of member DeSotoSky, I was able to acquire an Empress Trio set. While the Carving 9-inch knive is impressive, I’m really enamored by the handle on the 4-inch Paring knife. It’s more squared off than either the Royalty offering or my 1990 107.

One interesting thing, the thicknesses of the blades were 0.074, 0.078, 0.082…any guesses as to which was which?

I've seen and heard about these empress trio sets for years now. never seen one in the metal. only pics. those who have them swear by them. nice set you have there, Sir.
