Does everybody that send an "ems" on a knife an answer or just the happy one that get the get it ?
 
It means Email Sent. It's a courtesy to others on the forum to let them know that you have emailed Yangdu to buy the item for sale. It's good for the forumites and it helps keep Yandgu from getting swamped with emails. Likewise the DD or done deal means that you were the first to confirm with Yangdu that you have purchased the item. Some people don't post an EMS which is called Stealth Sharking - it's frowned upon... Any day I get a DD is a good one!
 
What I ment was : I have send an email to Yangdu and have not got any answer . Does that mean that somebody else got this knife ?
 
As Mateos states, EMS doesn't mean deal done, nor does it mean that another isn't available. I've had luck (albeit once) contacting Yangdu about some small items, she had some extras and offered at the daily deal pricing. "EMS" is essentially just marking ones territory [emoji78].

It depends on how long ago you sent the email. Yangdu is a busy woman and she doesn't always reply to an email the same day. Also, she is often unavailable on weekends (like most of us).

Thanks . I send the email the 17/9 and one the 21/9 . Had a hope on getting a small CAK .

It probably means that Yangdu is either really busy and hasn't gotten to your email, or she hasn't received your email for some reason, if you PM or email me your message, I can forward it to her email, because I know she is getting my emails.

Thanks . She is probably very busy . I have purchaced 6 knifes from her earlier so she have got my mails . I just have to vait a bit .
 
Svengj, she usually responds one way or the other. Done Deal or Long Gone.

I remember you emailing about the knife, you should have received a response by now. I'd email again for confirmation or call. Sometimes folks have gotten through before and then suddenly don't for some reason.

Had that happen not to long ago but still had a happy ending, I'll hope for a happy ending for you as well.

I hope so . Love to have that litle 12.5 inch 18 ounce Chiurwa Ang Khola . I have a bigger verson also .
