I saw a seller on ebay advertising vintage USA Schrade (152) I believe new and in the box but in noticed in the pics it had a Taylor box. I asked him if teh knife was nade in usa and he was using a Taylor box. Reply was made in China. Funny my quesion never appeared in his question assjed and answered ad. Buyer beware.

Wonder what his definition of vintage is? Anything earlier than 2010?

Thats ebay for ya. Selling useless crap since its inception!

Dont give me a dirtygram. I know they are quality products being sold by good vendors, Im talking about the rest of the crap.

Ebay is a very interesting, if sleazy place. Just sit with your back to a wall, & watch out fer Jack McCall.

Just like any other business practice. There is always the good, the bad, and the ugly. But the Internet for sure can be is a breeding ground for deception. Buying sight unseen is not for everyone. Especially if you are trusting, gullible, and not very observant. :D

..I'm still on the lookout for a Taylor "seconds" knife now that would be an ultra scarce ultra rare collectable.....if not somewhat grotesque!......Hoo Roo

I don't believe they list questions on the bay like they used to. You have to look for them. I told a seller that he had the wrong color on a Frontier knife and I will go back and see where it can be seen.

The seller is given the option of whether he wants the question to appear on his listing. He can tick a box for it to appear or leave it blank...the question is still answered by private email thru the Ebay system..that is if the seller responds....Ebay has to leave it this way because as an occasional seller I know that some of the questions can be real "wackydoo" and you would not want them to appear for say 7 days during your listing....you could almost have a separate thread for the weirdest questions you've been asked whilst selling....as Daffy would say...some are" Doozies!!"
I have pointed out intentional misrepresentations to sellers and they invariably never appear on listings and often never answered...Hoo Roo

Well keep at it, cause I do too! Told one that had a terrier(Robeson) mini jack advertised as made in the 1870's on the title that Terrier(Robeson) was 1910-1930, they later told me they couldnt post it on their auction due to "health issues, i hope you understand".
