These tanto blades by Allen Elishewitz, and bowie blades ground by Pat Crawford, were the last custom balisongs that came from Benchmade. The knives were assembled and finished by Vance Collver. These are the essence of the custom made balisongs as we know them, distilled from the original Bali-Song Cutlery Company through the years..............

Here's the rest of the pictures, including a shot of the certificate that came with the knife. It was quite a nice box those things came in! http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=667533&a=13617087

Eh, nice... but I've seen better ;)

Pitty that it doesn't have presentation-grade snakewood inserts. That would look nice, don't you think?

Chuck, I couldn't agree with you more! That's got to be one of the nicer balis I've ever seen. I figure, though, that one in the hand is better than havin' to look at a picture and wiping tears from my face.........;)

Another magnificent addition to your most enviable collection, Dawkind! That's truly a beautiful piece. Take care, Win

Dawkind, I must agree with BladeWarrior, that is a magnificent piece.

Gollnick, when I find the words to express the beauty of your Custom Elishewitz, I will get back to you. For the time being, I'm speachless.

Dawkind, that is so awesome. I bow down to you for your collection. That is just such a beauty. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. Andrea

Hey Cameron, to me it wasn't a very good flipper, too short handles with too much weight.
If the handles had been longer then it'd be ok.
Really bad as i buy my knives to be used, i like the 42's better for flipping. (and most probably the 43and 47 too)

Dawkind, i'll e-mail you later today, been away and quite busy, sorry 'bout that :)
