It increasingly seems like the AK Bowie is more popular than the AK! (At the very least, we see more of them.)

Sent an email for either the middle kukri with the brown handle, If someone grabbed that already I'll take the one with the black handle right of it.

That would be:14.5 inch 23 ounce villager fit and finish BAS by Vim. Satisal wood handle. All fittings are white metal. Yours for $65 YBB.

Then to its right is: 13 inch 21 ounce Bonecutter by Murali. Satisal wood handle. White metal fittings. Another great deal at $60 YBB.

Good luck!

Yeh that's the one I copy and pasted in the email. :) Ordered a bilton kukri around here about 7 years ago. :D :p Blame some guy at the local ren faire two months ago. He had a kukri on the table, got me lusting for them again.

The 3rd and the 4th are both british army style blades, if I am not mistaken. The last one is the bone cutter no?

The one on the far right is the bone cutter, I believe Auntie has the descriptions of the two to the left of it turned around...

Thanks milani. A stickie would be good for all the different models, their history, applications, etc.

This thread might be helpful http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=653851
also check the HI main page for the more common models....

you'll notice that the different styles of kurkris can be rather fluid, the shape of the bonecutter for example is somewhat different now than on earlier models...

Man, I would love to have that AK Bowie or that baby black blade CAK. Both of those are RARE and at a fantastic price. Those are both VERY tempting. I shall think on it....please, fellow sharks, save me from myself:D

I believe you are correct; I should have looked more closely at the photo rather than relying upon the description. :o

I'd seen that, too, but I was trying not to be a smarty-pants.

Menwhile, is there some reason this hasn't sold yet?
14.5 inch 26 ounce villager fit and finish Ang Khola by Sher the (tiger). Horn handle. All fittings are white metal. Best buy at $75 YBB.

I'm sorely tempted to recommend that to someone in my family.......
