Im sure this may have been done before but Im new and curious..plus some new knives have recently come out that may have some refining there set-ups.
So here is the scenario:
End of the world as we know it and you have to carry what you use(ie natural disaster, fall of society, alien invasion, biblical apocolypse, zombie outbreak, you pick...).
What three/four blades are you carrying (chopper,utility,slicer,multitool,beheader..) and in what configuration(on the hip, back, thigh rig;piggyback, cross draw...).

Of course this is a topic that will probably require some pics.Ill have to work on that though. Lets see what you got.

well i don't have my ash 1 yet but i would say zombie out break :p
my FFBM, ASH1,CS BATAC, mk2
that should cover all the bases and still be portable
FFBM on the back pack
ASH1 right hip
CS BATAC left hip
mk2 on the neck

I love these kinds of theads. Makes me want to buy more. ;)

Busse

AK47: Either carried in hand in an Okuden sheath or strapped to my pack. Mainly an SD tool or to clear debris.

FFBM: Leather sheath from Chuddy Bear in my pack. This would be my serisous chopper/camp tool.

BATACSE: Strapped to my weak side or carried "scout style" middle of lower back. I need a good kydex for this one.

Swamp Warden: In a side pocket or IWB. (small chores or as a back up). Small kydex sheath.

Maybe I should make my kids carry some of this weight. ;)

Note: I'll post pics when I get home later today.

Yoga lessons !..........................So I can bend over and kiss my a$$ goodbye. Can't
beat any of the above ...Good choices.

These two... and a folder or 2

Big Boy: RUCK-okuden kydex strapped to my backpack.

Chopper: Desert Battle Mistress ergo - on my left hip wearing coyote brown okuden.

CQC: Battle Inspried Bolo Blade (BIBB)- Chuddy Bear drop leg, right side.

EDC: Cultellus - Chuddy Bear pocket sheath.

In general I would not use the DBMe, "trying to keep it minty" but when crap hits the fan, I guess have no other choice.

TEOTWAWKI knives for me would be:

AFCK
Muddy Meaner
EU-17 Regular
Tomahawk

The top two are my EDC's. The EU-17 sits in my BOB along with my 'hawk.

If zombies, FAL and XD .45, otherwise my custom Scout and G27 with .22 conversion kit and can.

Think it would have to be my FFBM, then a War Boar and Argonne Assault. Of course the chances of me being able to acquire either a War Boar or Argonne Assault, never mind both, on my budget are less than the chances of there being an apocalypse/alien invasion/zombie outbreak or meteor strike. lol.
Still I could always raid the Busse shop for some blades, if everyone is dead who would know?

My TEOTWAWKI knives, if I could only have 4, and had to use knives and sheaths I currently own:

Chopper: FFBM in Chuddy bear leather, in my pack
All-rounder: BATACLE in Chuddy Bear leather on my weak side (Glock 19 rides on the strong side)
EDC: OJ Warden in Krein Kydex in my left back pocket
Folder: Spyderco Paramilitary in right front pocket

I would also sneak my Leatherman Wave in my pack.

I might switch the BATACLE for one of my ASH-1s when they come in, and I might trade the Warden for the Cultellus, but I'm still waiting for that one. I'd also want an M4 with an ACOG on it in a sling across my chest. And plenty of spare mags.

CG FBM in Cuddy pants at the right front side, HR in spec-ops survival at the right side, CG BATAC in spec-ops combat on the left side, Yard Guard in semper paratus on left front, BATAC LE in Okuden at the back of the belt.

End of the world. Money is useless. I figure I can barter with Busses so I'm packin all the knives I can carry, along with a 12 ga. pump and a 1911. :D

Depending on the situation if I need to keep moblie I may only pack a FFBM and a folder - but if I need to dig in someplace I'll grab as many of my knives as I can.

I LIKE, I LIKE... seems to be a general agreement on a FBM of some sort in a chuddy bear sheath. Forgot to mention feel free to throw in your firearm(s) of choice as well.

X-large: RUCK- kydex strapped to my backpack.

Large: Proto Bowie FBM on my left side wearing drop leg kydex

Med: Clip point FSH with serrations - on the right side with drop leg kydex as well.

SM: SFNO in my backpack

Hand guns: 1911 Yost Commander, P7M13
Long guns: Yost Big Lewie, Les Baer AR

AK 47 in leather sheath on my left side (cross-draw).
FBM tied to my backpack.
AD or Leaner Meaner (or maybe the Cultellus :D ) on my belt. Right side behind the hip (leaving room for a gun holster, if I could even manage to get my hands on a gun here in "commie" land that is :p ).
Leatherman multitool in my jacket pocket.
Large Sebenza in my pocket.
I would also try to get a nice scoped rifle of some sort.

AK-47. Zombies and general kick-ass duty.

FBM SE. Chopper.

ABA LE. Utility.

Leatherman Charge Ti. Odds and ends.

Remington 870. The most versatile firearm made.

Glock 17. Close encounters.

The two guns were chosen for their durability, versatility, and the greater likelihood of finding 9mm and 12 gauge ammo.

well i dont have enough knives to tell you the 4 i would carry but i have read the zombie survival guide. here are the four weapons or things you would need. i wouldnt have 4 anyways the AK looks fun :p :D

the four weapons or things:

Crossbow (if your goo at it, if not a silenced pistle [silencers are hard to come by thou]) and arrows of cource

assult rifle (i like anykind of bull pup maybe, a FAMAS) of course ammo...

Busse GW thats the only one i have (FOR NOW!)

leatherman wave (you might need a can opener :p)

You dont need to actually own them...YET(might want to get moving on them though). Zombie Survival guide rox.
