Endura 4 assembly?

SO I had this great idea, I wanted to put that red endura 4 handle on the trainer on my fully serrated endura 4.

I did a blade/handle swap a few years ago because I wanted the ZDP-189 blade in the lighter green handle. I managed to put it back together and I don't remember any problems.

But today, I just can't seem to get em back together!
I have been looking for an assembly walk-through online but have not found any.

Specifically it is the spring that is giving me fits. It pops out while trying to put the liner back on.

Any help is appreciated, I feel like a total dumb@ss but, oh well.

I seem to remember a similar thread recently. Do a search, you might find what you're looking for.

I typed a response & thought I posted it but something must have happened, it didn't show.

I got it figured out, I did do it a bit differently than the walk-though. But I got it back together!

Now I have a pretty RED fully serrated Endura 4!

I don't want to laugh at anyone's predicament, but I posted a similar thread a month ago.

It was pretty late at night, but I felt a bit stupid trying over and over again trying to get the spring to stay in.

Finally it dawned on me to assemble the handle first, slide spring into the slot, and then the lockbar, and use a table or other surface to push the lockbar in, whilst putting in the final screw which is the pivot point for the lockbar.

The surface which pushes the lockbar in serves as the "third hand", which you probably wish you had by now. Good luck. I feel you pain, brother!
