Endura 4 black coat worth it?

So a new knife, Spyderco Endura 4. Was really wondering if sacrificing the plain or SE edge for a combo, but the combo comes with a black coat. I personally love the way a black blade looks, and even though about 80% of my knives ore combo people say combo edge is pointless...I can somewhat relate to this. I have experienced a combo edge just catching on the teeth before it actually starts the real work sliding right to the PE. So is it worth to get combo edge just for the black coating? All feedback appreciated. Thank You:thumbup:

For the sake of use, I would avoid combo edge, but if black coating would make you enjoy the knife more then go for it.

I would normally avoid coated blades because the coating would just catch whatever material that I'm cutting through and sometimes the residue isn't easy to clean off. I would especially avoid a coated combo edge knife.
