Sorry if it's been asked before or if I've just overlooked this. I took apart my Endura (foolish me :grumpy:) too see how it worked and put it back together with not-so-much hassle. However, I just noticed when I loosened the pivot screw to the previous setting, there's lots of horizontal blade play when it's closed. When opened, it's perfectly locked up -- zero blade play. I'm just wondering if I messed something up when reassembling it, or if this is just normal with Enduras? Thanks guys!

There is that same play when it's opened... You just don't notice it because you don't have the handles there to compare it to.

You might have, however, failed to get the backspacer's notch into the hole of the liners. Most people will do this unless they actually know about it before hand. The trick to this is to assemble everything except the lock bar, first, and after everything is set, slide the lock bar in and put the bolt through it.

It's perfectly fine when it's locked up, 0 blade play. It was reassembled correctly, I was just wondering if I messed somethin up, thank ya

There is always some flex at the tip. You can see it when the knife is closed because you have the handles as a reference. Kind of like how they say that the moon seems bigger when it's lower because you have objects to compare the size.
