I really thought when Spyderco came out with the D4 and E4 models that I'd not see many of these but occasionally I still get a straggler in for a Wave mod. This one should be fairly straight forward.

Looks like some Wave action will be going on in the shop today for sure.

Ok this one is done. Will be on the way home shortly.

works great, but... i think it needs a set of dark green g-10 handles. could you email me a price for doin that? thanks alot.

Theo I can't do any new scales on that knife due to how its designed. The liners are inlayed up into the FRN scales on the D4 and E4 models. I have no way of making new ones fit over the existing liners.

Sorry my friend.

ok thats to bad. i dont think you could do my endura with a frame lock conversion. could you? if not what spyderco closest to the endura could you do? thanks Alot

Millie is the only one so far and I understand there is a chance the design of that one may change so it may be that only older models will be candidates even in those.

Some of the other older Spyderco Liner locks that are bigger models like the Impala may also be feesible but I can't say without having one to examine.

You are referring to the edge serrations I guess. I think they are factory. I don't offer that service personally. Pretty sure Theo didn't do them. But I can't say I spent a lot of time looking close at them so much as other parts of the blade I was working on. Theo puts his knives to work so maybe they just get used a lot. I don't know.

Oh sorry Theo. Spaced past that one. My bad there.

I did one of those in the past that was an FRN in the mauve color and it was one of the toughest ones I've ever done but it looks like that one is one with a metal spring holder spacer already in it. Must be, because I can see metal on the spine back there in the pics.

If thats the case it should not be very hard to rebuild scales only. It may even have some liners underneath those scales on it. Not that I'd reuse those for the new ti lined one but its better because I can use those to trace and as a template rather than the Micarta or whatever one that is.

Here are the only two pics I could find right off but it seems Deacon posted some others of it since he won that one in an auction when I donated it to the USN forum (back when I still belonged and was in good standing there) You can find those in the Picture thread sticky I made at the top of the page. FYI.

i like the blue one could you email me a price for ti scales, one of your clips and of course it has to has to have a wave lol. also do you have any more endura 4 Titanium back Spacers? thanks

Actually I got my lap top out and checked the pic again with a good monitor this time and can't tell on the spring holder. My desktop is a crappy monitor that has been zapped. Not that it matters because sometimes those are not reuseable anyway and those pins look too big to make work on my lap top. The head of screws I would use are going to too large from the looks of it and they'd overhang off the edge.

I am not making anymore of the spacers for D4s or E4s. Sorry. Been there and done that enough to know it is more work than its worth.

I'll email you here in a bit.

Thanks

I just emailed you but I had to do it through BF. I can't find you in my inbox.

Get back to me and we'll cover pricing then.
Thanks
