I am looking at a new pocket knife for EDC and I found out that my state does not have a lenght limit (Woohoo!) and I looked at the Endura 4. When I saw it was available in waved form I wanted it. But I don't like the plain FRN handles but I love Spyderco's G10 Foliage Green handles and I was wondering if the knife came in Foliage Green and waved. If so could somebody show me a website that sells it?
Many Many Thanks,

You'd have to buy both, then switch the blade and lock-bar between the two.
At least you end up with two functional knives.:)

Dang. I might just go with the Ghetto Waving by putting some ZipTies on it. Or maybe somebody could sell me a Blade from the Waved knife. I dunno.

I was actually considering doing this myself, as I am not a fan of the FRN handles, but wanted a waved Endura.

You're certain this would work?

I did this with a waved delica, so i imagine that it would work with the endura as well.

I swapped the scales on my waved Delica to FRN foliage green. It was simple. I understand that the process is a bit more tricky on the Endura.

Do you know if anybody sell the Foilage Green G10 handles without a knife, like just the scales.

You can probably get STR or Tricod or someone to make you some scales for a cost. But Spyderco themselves do not sell handles alone.

I personally don't like the Wave. I have several Emersons and regularly nick myself when taking my knife out of my pocket.

At least the Emerson waves are fairly unobtrusive, you can't miss the wave on the Endura.

It looks way better without one IMO.

If your handy with a dremel tool you can wave it yourself...I'm not a big fan of the waves myself. If I want a fast deploying knife with me, I take my automatic.

Another option would be to get the G-10 Endura and have STR add the wave. He's licensed by Emerson to do that.

Double plus good on that. STR is cheap, fast, and a gentleman. He waved my old-style Police model--after Chase Axxin drilled and tapped it for four way carry--and it works more reliably than the P'Kal. For me anyway.

Hey, there's nothing plain about Spyderco's FRN. :D One thing to keep in mind is that the wave method of opening puts more drag on the knife when pulling from the pocket. The waved Enduras Bi-Directional Texturing® offers an unparalleled gripping surface. IMO, there's nothing better when it comes to handle material.

I personally don't like the FRN it feels cheap and flimsy to me. The G10 feels solid and I get a better grip on it.
