Endura 5?

I don't see how they can improve on what is currently offered. Have you seen the FFG versions?

Of course there will be an endura 5. Spyderco is all about constant improvement of its products, and the endura, being one of spydercos most popular models will definitely continue to be updated. What that update might entail or when it may come is a mystery to probably everyone but Sal. I will say this though, I'd bet we see a military 2 before we see an endura 5.

I'm hoping for a Military 2 with a pocket clip movable to all 4 spots, and a compression lock. Essentially a Paramilitary 2 with the Military's longer blade.

Here's my list:
-G10 with partial liners to keep the weight down
-Stone washed pocket clip, instead of painted
-Perhaps a compression lock instead of back lock
-Finger choil
-Better blade steel, if price permits. Maybe S30v.

I know they are trying to keep it in the $50-60 price range, but that's a few things I'd pay extra for.

Sounds like you're describing the PM2

The only change I would like to see is a deep carry clip.

I love that the Delica and Endura models are available in a variety of grinds, edges, and colors, so I hope that does not change. I would also hope that it retains the lock back mechanism. A Delica or Endura wouldn’t be the same to me otherwise.

I am carrying my FS Endura today and I don’t see much to improve upon that another similar Spyderco knife doesn’t already offer.

While the Endura 4 is one of my favorite Spydies I would like to see a return to the pointier tip much like the older Endura's and the Para's have. A deeper carry or wire clip would be great but personally the only thing I really wish for is the pointier tip.

That's easy to fix. It's much harder to add material to the tip.

I m very impressed with the Spyderco wire clip and think that would make a nice change. More importantly, I believe a larger pivot screw assembly would increase the sturdiness of the knife and make it more suitable for hard use.

Four inch blade, S35VN steel, full flat grind,G-10 with a checker type grip, a barrel pin with lanyard like in the CRK knives and a deep carry clip.

Just in case some dont know, Japanese knives will always have Japanese steel and US knives will have US steel. (In the past and as commented by Spyderco reps in the past) The chances of S30V are slim in an Endura.

A larger more rigid pivot is the only thing I can think of as an improvement other than a FFG full SE variant.

Ooh! Didn't think of that. The very minor side-to-side wiggle in my Endura isn't a problem, but a more rigid pivot would be better. I'd also change the clip up to the more discrete deep carry wire clip.
