Is there going to be an Endura 5? What do you want to see/change if and when Spyderco decides to pull the trigger.
I have used Enduras since the 90's and I just love them.
A larger pivot and longer screws on the pocket clip would be nice and perhaps a choil.
Stonewashed blade? Or is it just perfect as it is.

While there were many material and technical improvements with the E4 over the E3, ergonomics and blade shape were better on the E3. I would like to see the E5, if it comes about, to return to the wider, more palm filling handle and pointier tip of the E3.

I'd take some change to the pivot to make the Endura smoother and easier to open. This is not to say that the current flavor is lacking, but compare it to Para 2, Military and other Spydies which are buttery smooth to open. I don't know how this might be accomplished either. Just my take. Everything else I'd leave the same. Some products, like the Military and Endura, reach a point in their evolution where additional changes would be devolution.

I kind of preferred the Endura 3 over the 4. Liked the handle shape better, I guess. But the 4 is pretty great. I'd like to see a choil along the lines of the Saver Salt and perhaps a 14mm hole, otherwise it's pretty perfect.

I wouldn't mind a nice choil. And black and white frn as well as blue, green, brown etc w/ffg blade.

I've got a bunch of Enduras of all generations including a couple NIB gen. 3. I like the current FFG PE models the best and carry them the most. It's easiest to get the bevels just the way I like it, and keep it that way. Initial sharpening was faster with this FFG. Of course the VG10 sure makes it a sweet slicer for a stainless.

I've got my latest convexed just as an experiment. It's a good fit actually and I like having one of them with this edge.

The only thing I would change is the blade shape on the standard model. I like the pointier gen 3 version as well.

I have the FFG ZDP green handled Endura, and like it for casual carry, but would find it interesting if Spyderco could take that design and simply beef it up for heavier use.

I disagree, the military will be completely evolved when youre not forced to carry tip down.

I like the current Endura 4 the way it is. I can't think of anything that could be done to improve it at all.

The full flat-grinds are great along with the colored handle versions.

All of the changes listed are good ideas BUT, I think that would drive the price up and it would not be an intro to the Spyderco line as it was for me. I had the Endura 1 for years and years until I went to work for the Feds. As usual you can't leave a knife, sunglasses, or ink pen lying around cops they will steal them. Anyway back to the point I bought it because I was a street cop and it was cheap and a good blade. Now I have a little more money and can afford the PARA 2 etc.
