Endura clip modification

Anyone modified the barrel mounted clip on an FRN Endura/Delica to allow tip-down carry?
Thanks.
 
I've done 100s of clip changes on Spydies but even I couldnt find a way to mount the clip USING the Barrel bolt assembly for tip down on the FRN models?
The obvious question would be how would you open and close the knife?..Ron
 
Well, if another spyderco 3-screw metal clip can be modified to fix to the FRN Endura, let me know...thanks.
 
Now that! my friend is very possible.
