Is it possible to get Endura & Delica scales in different colors - like yellow, red, or orange? I've seen green, blue, and [I think] white, but what about other colors?

I'm thinking of getting either model for my father-in-law, but I'd rather get a bright-colored knife for him, easier for him to see if dropped, or put down somewhere.

Special-order item form the factory?

Thanks guys - I'm new to Spyderco, being focused on more traditional styles for most of my life. I'm 'expanding my options' so to speak, and, of all the new styles of knives I've gotten into, I really like the Spydercos the best. I've got a Gen. 2 Endura, used, and it's amazing.

I might go ahead and get a Salt, I'm sure I'll get hooked on it, like the others.

So, with the first question in mind, what colors have the Endura and Delica been released in?

One of my coworkers purchased a trainer and swapped the scales on it. He now has a red handled delica wave! My manager did the same thing with a benchmade presidio. :)

Sounds like you want either a Salt (yellow) or a Rescue (orange). They have the brightest FRN handles.

Someone had posted a pic somewhere a few days ago, but I believe:

Black
White
Gray/Blue (waved models)
Red (Trainer models)
Pink
Green (ZDP models)
Light blue/purple (first ZDP Delica)

There's also the Toxic green waved Endura from the USN forum. Nice and bright.:p:thumbup:

I change the scales of my pink Delica by hot green dyeing. (not painting)
now it seems brown-green and unique in the world !
