Just bought my third Spyderco, a FFG Endura in brown. The first two are a Delica 4 FRN that I ground down to an almost FFG (daily work knife) and a Persistence that is an amazing value, sub 3" folder. For the record, this Endura comes in at well under half the weight of my Buck 110 with the same blade length. I wish I could post pics of the cigarette pack wrapper (the cellophane part) I just shredded into slivers with the out of box edge! The Persistence has shown me that a FFG can be as good of a slicer as my hollow grind 110/Skyline/Seal Pup Elite, but with a tiny bit more heft. My ONLY complaint is how sharp the Spyder hole dug into my thumb nail on the first 100-200 flips. I was about to sand paper the hole out, when out of the blue it just started feeling smoother. I can't say enough about how sweet this blade is! I'm not serving kool aid here BTW, just a really happy customer. And with this in my front right or back right pocket, I'm quite sure that I do not need a razor in my shoe.:)

Maybe the hole didn't get smoother but your thumb went numb. JK, I have the same knife but in green. What I like is using water stones ala Murray Carter you can get some nice results. It just takes some time to master them, which I have not but practice makes perfect. So they say anyhow.
