I've had this knife for about a month right now and I must say that this knife is the epitome of Spyderco quality. Words cannot describe how much I love this knife. Super solid lock-up, vg-10 steel, razor sharp, great ergonomics, I think this should be Spyderco's flagship knife.

LOL, I agree with you about the quality of this knife. The irony is that it's discontinued.

The Endura 4 G10 is no doubt a darn high quality knife, it's excellent but didn't come shaving sharp ou of my box

I agree with the OP. I also purchased it when the price dropped. I think the original price was way to high and therefor it did not catch on.

I picked up a pair of the foliage green G-10s and the quality is top notch. Lockup is superb. Just not a fan of foliage green so the handles will be dyed black. Then I'll really like and carry this knife.

I love the foliage green! Just picked up an Endura 4 frn in foliage green for $44 shipped! If you go to PoorFishOutdoors site on Ebay or Amazon they have em that cheap!

Where did you get it for that cheap? Link?

I tried searching on ebay or amazon but they are not that cheap...

Update: nevermind. I thought you meant the G-10 version. That price is decent not spectacular especially because it is serrated edge and not plain edge.

I got one recently from Turners Outdoorsman and not only is it a very nice knife but at a great price ($59 on sale but the sale is over).

I total agree with you on all you points and it's a pity it was discontinued.I just had a question to all G-10 Endura owner's out there have you take you knife apart for a cleaning as I have.If not you would be shocked as to what lies between the insides of the skeletonized liners and G-10.If you use your knife with food.

I don't know if I'll dare to use this baby to chop up meat whatnot, it is very capable of the job though!

I have yet to disassemble any Endura, the word is that it is hard to put it back together. The only cleaning I've been doing is to spray Teflon wax/lube into Pivot points, and it works wonders and is very smooth like the Teflon treated Endura4 Wave, Native and Kershaws  Using compressed air to blast out sand and dirt is a good idea too:cool:

I picked up an Endura G-10 a couple of months ago while they were on sale. I knew they wouldn't be around long. I've missed out on a couple of sprint runs because I didn't pull the trigger fast enough. I agree with frgtn340, the fit and finish are outstanding.

The action on mine was pretty tight. I also noticed that one of the PB washers was a bit bent. I took the knife apart, cleaned it up, and relubed it. Works better, not as smooth as some of the other Spyderco knives I have. I'm find with it though. Great knife overall. Not sure why so many people dislike the color.

Just go to Google.com and search for Ebay PoorFishOutdoors. All one word.

Actually, what I found were fine metal particles(maybe even some fine G-10 dust) and a whole lot of brass bristles between the liners and the G-10 handle.

Thats a shame Razor, I've never really had a problem with the quality of Spyderco products. I'm sure Spyderco will do something about it if you send it back in.

There's no need to send it back but I have to warn it is more difficult to reassembly compared to the FRN endura. The tolerance is much tighter.

I want to state, the only other knife that I own that had fine metal dust within it's handle was a Boker Plus fixed blade which was made in China.
