Feedback from First Russian Knife Forum - Vadim Denisov from Norilsk:
"...I tortured this knife trying to check how slippery the Endura SS handle is. Result - not slippery at all! I process a lot of fresh fishes right from the net. Maximum slime mixed with fish scales is a tough challenge. At some point to worsen condition I intentionally cover entire handle with this staff. Also you should keep in mind that it was outdoor so please count also freezing wind, rain, tiredness after rowing the boat, uncomfortable position. So, even in such sourcomstances grip was solid and manageable - knife performs very well. Handle geometry allows to manage knife with absolutely slippery handle surface. My congratulations to knife designers! Blade also work well easily cuts slippery fish - perfect geometry and sharpness..."
Thanks, Vassili.
<Edited - plastic handle changed to SS, as it was in original post.>

I cured the slipperyness of the stainless handles of ALL my Spydies with the application of Agrip on the non-clip side, and that seems to work very well for me.

So is he actually referring to the steel or FRN handle?

One of the things I like about my FRN Delica is that it's really secure when switching grips. It just rolls around in my hand, thanks to the texture and overall handle design.
