I’ve got a Spyderco Endura (VG10 blade, plain edge, zytel handle) and I like it very much as a general purpose knife.
Now I wonder: to replace it with a Military (S30V blade, plain edge, G-10 handle) is worth the new purchase?
That is to say: am I going to notice the difference between the two knives?
Waiting for your replies and suggestions!
Thanks!

If the Military fits your hand better, I would go for it.

Pros-
FULL FLAT GRIND (will slice like crazy!!)
Better Steel
Smoother Opening
G10
More ergonomic handle(if it feels right in your hand)
Enlarged Spydie Hole
The spine is machined on the hump for better grip
Can be taken apart (voids warranty, but some find taking apart a pro)
Made in USA!!!

Cons-
Tip Down (imo)
1.1 oz weight difference (not much, but it may matter to you)

Hope this helps.

Yes, it is worth the difference. That is exactly what I converted from-to, except my Endura was PS. The Millie is the epitome of functional, dare I say it is "The One". I still keep the Endura handy as a back-up though.

I have both and have carried both quite extensively. Both cut like crazy. The Military is a bit larger in handle length and is more comfy in my hand, but everyone is different in that regard.

The Military is a liner lock. Mine locks up solid with no blade play and has passed the 'spine-whack test' several times with no failure.

For some reason my Military clip seems to snag on things a lot when carried in my pocket. I have bent the clip on my Military WAY more than any other knife and it isn't due to more carry time. I have no explanation for this.

I think that both knives are great and the Endura is one of the best knives for the price out there! Can't really go wrong with either. I used to carry both at once, the Endura in the left pocket and the Military in the right! It made a great combo!

Hehehe. There's are about a million differences between the Military and Endura. I wouldn't worry about getting one and feeling like you have two of the same knives. I really like both my Endura and Military, but there's a huge difference between them. The Military has many more features.

Get the Military you'll be VERY glad you did ! :) It's so much more knife than the Endura, although I have and carry the Endura also.
