Endura Parts Kit

Just noticed one of the approved vendors has an Endura parts kit for sale that includes skeletonized liners among other things.

Does anyone have experience with a Spyderco kit like this? Is this a trend where kits are to be offered as opposed to Spyderco sending out requested parts "under" warranty for lost/misplaced screws and such?

The Delica and Endura are their most popular models, with the most people taking them apart.
And the most people damaging parts...

So, they responded to customer need with these handy repair kits.
They've been out for a while, with no others on the horizon that I know of.

But who knows; maybe another model will be as long-lived and popular, in which case a new parts kit may come out.

Imagine it's the result of countless requests for warranty support for knives being damaged by owners that "tinker" when they shouldn't be. They can either spend all day reassembling knives, or making new knives, seems like a simple decision to me.
