Endura question

i realize back locks have a small bit of "give" in them.... when the endura is CLOSED and you grip the knife in your fist, does the blade make contact with the back spacer? Looking at the pakkawood endura and wondering if it will roll the edge

Thanks

No, it won't. The blade kick hits on the release side of the lockbar pivot, so when you squeeze the blade into the handle, the force is transmitted through the lockbar to the blade tang, preventing the blade from moving.

I'm with yablanowitz, I have never noticed this happening. Haven't looked closely, but the blade never dulls between uses, and stays beautifully sharp. You won't regret owning one of these knives.

In my experience, this is not an issue with Mid-back locks vs traditional back locks. check the difference in the pins placement for the lock bar, it makes all the difference.

No issues with the Endura. Don't worry. Just buy one and you'll love it.

Quite frankly, the Endura keeps me from buying a lot of larger Spydercos because I get just as much knife, with a lock I love, in a light weight and inexpensive package.
