Hello, very nice forum you guys have here! I know little about knives and am here to learn. I have a new Endura that may or may not have an issue.

When I apply pressure against the cutting edge of the opened and locked blade, the blade moves backwards(towards the back of the handle)ever so slightly. As the blade moves, it causes the lock release button on the handle of the knife to dip into the handle very slightly. The lock DOES NOT fail. When the lockback button moves, it makes a clicking sound. Other than this, there is absolutely no blade wobble or play at all.

Does anyone else's do this or does their blade have any rearward motion when pressure is applied? Is this within the bounds of "normal" for the Endura? I'm ok with it if it is.

its called vertical play, and is typical for knives that have backlocks, like yours
not all have it, bust most do
dont worry about it to much

It can be annoying, but it's normal. Not every midlock will do it, not even every specimen of a given model, but perhaps 50% will, on average.
