Have a lot of knives but not a lot of Spydercos; while elk hunting I loaned my Ritter Grip to another hunter and put an Endura I have had for sometime but never carried in my pocket. It is not real smooth but I fell in love with the blade. Long ways around to ask you experts what Spyderco (prefrably made in USA) that will be a bit smoother but with the same blade congfiguration as the Endura? BTW was always a blade down man but have come to the conclusion that up or down doesn't really matter if the knife is a good one. Thanks for any input.

The Military is pretty similar to the Endura in blade shape, but is a bit bigger.

Use that Endura and it'll smooth out, it's a great knife.

Another vote for the Millie(USA) !!! Although if you can find an endura4(japan)in g10 grab it , my delica 4 in g10 is one of the smoothes spydies I own!! You may want to check out the manix 2(USA) also!!

The military is similar is blade shape and length being just a bit bigger than the endura. The millie is a very smoothe kife but my endura is smooth to so you may just have to work yours in a bit.

I'd vote for the G10 Endura, too. I just can't seem to find one whenever I have the $$$ available.

+2 for the G10 Endura, very nice...a lot more comfortable IMHO than the FRN version, downside is that the G10, if you can find one, is more expensive.
