Endura spyderedge serrations different???

Never noticed this before but my fully serrated endura 4 has much different serrations than any of other endura patterned knives - they are much more shallow and less aggressive.

Is this normal?

Why?

Very interesting. Serration size is a topic of debate. Agressive large serrations are more likely to get caught on fibrous materials in SD situations. Finer ones such as CS are less likely to do so but are not easily sharpened.
 
It's odd to me that my combo edge has the deepest of them all - even compared to the matriarch...

Im assuming these are hand ground so variations will be the norm, but I googled some pics of the above and they seem pretty uniform among the models - the spyderedge endura always seems to have this smaller pattern.

Very interesting. I could see how the larger serrations could get hung up on slow cuts.
