I am looking at buying one of these two Spydercos and I need some opinions on them. I am leaning towards the Native on the basis of looks only, I like the shape and look of the Native blade. I also hear that you can get the Native in a S30V version but I have not seen anywhere that you can buy one. Please let me know what you think, I know some will say that I should get what I like and want but I value the opinions of the people on the forum.

The Native is my favorite design so that influences my recomendations :) The SS version of the Native is not available in S30V - only the FRN version. Other than the design of the two the main difference is that the SS Native has AUS-10 blade steel while the SS Endura is AUS-6. Not a big difference but IMHO the edge goes to the Native. Pick the one which feels best to you, either one is a very good knife!

I do not currently own any knives with AUS-10 steel so I am unfamiliar with where it ranks in the world of knife steels. Anybody have any opinions on AUS-10?

I really like AUS10.Holds an edge and is easy to get a really fine edge on it.If you are getting a SS native in PE you better hurry they have been discontinued. The only way they are offered now is in CE.You will like it,it has a very good lock up and stronger springs than the FRN models.

I would choose the Delica...It just "feels right". In-fact, I have 2 SS models (and 1 FRN), and next to the Police models, the Delica is my favorite folder.

The Delica is nice but it is a little too small for me, I prefer a minimum of a 3 inch blade. The Native is also small but the look of the knife has me hooked.

Native! I have a lightweight Zytel handled one - my first Spydie. It is a great knife for it's size. Carried when I can't carry one of the big'uns, but still want a stout feeling blade. The choil formed between the blade and the handle make for a good grip.

I just ordered the Native SS and I can't wait till it gets here. Thanks for you opinions.
