Looking to add an endura. I've not been attracked to the look of the wave blade until now. Form vs. function the wave now looks like a good choice. To those who have waves do you carry them a lot or is the wave more of a fad?

I like the knife for its blade shape, it does many things well. The wave feature is all in how you view it, I like it myself but some think its a marketing tool. Its a hard to beat deal on a good blade that is very functional and the reason I have one of each :D

The Spyderco version of the wave works very well. I really liked my Waved endura, but since I'm so used to carrying in my back pocket and tip down, I found myself never carrying the endura. If you like tip up carry in your front pockets then I think it would be hard to beat a waved spyderco edc.

The Wave is the fastest opening method possible.
It may not be for everyone, but if you're a fan of the Endura I highly recommend it.

I'm a big fan of it.
I have been carrying it for something like 3 years now and it has been my EDC since I got it. I have thought about replacing it, but it is just so darn handy to have that wave feature.

It is a rather obtuse saber grind that can withstand a good sum of punishment, I like it, although you will have a tough time winning slicing competitions. No wafer thin tomato slices on a moment's notice with that saber grind, but that is why I carry a Swiss Army Knife in my other pocket.

I'm a function-over-form guy myself. Scratches and useage for all knives in my house, although some get used more than others.

Knifenut1013 Thanks for the pic. If you could only have the endura or delica, which would it be. ac1dov3r1d3 and Joshua J. Thanks for your comments also.

Your gonna make me choose!!!

Their both very good so it would come down to what size you like best. I like larger blades so I would pick the endura.

I agree that the wave is very nice. I kept my wave Endura and sold my wave Delica. Now I am kind of wishing I had kept my Delica too.

What I would really like to see is the p'kal style wave offered as an option on most of the Spyderco knives.

If Spyderco released a waved Chinook and/or Manix 2, I would order them today.

I have both and would keep the Endura as well. I wasnt looking for a waved Spydie when I bought mine but i got a good deal. Spyderco's version of the wave is excellent too. 100% for me.
