Hi Sal, I would like an Endura with a deep cover wire clip. Why when there are so many other models that are close? First the Endura is the largest knife I wish to front pocket carry. Second, I carry a custom made sterling silver money clip in the same pocket and prefer "frn" to other scales to keep wear on my money clip to a minimum. Third, This would be available for around $80. Lets make the scales foilage green and the blade ffg of H1. Does this appeal to any one else? Or just my dream?

flat ground composite edge zdp 189 blade with thin titanium slabs. and yes, i want the low-ride SS wire clip. some discontinuous jimping on the edges but the slabs should be plain finished like the ti millie.

I'm all for the wire clip but keep it FRN. A more of a point on the tip like the older Endura's would make carry it about all the time. Steel wise, VG-10 would be just fine with me. That's about all the refinement that I think it needs. I had similar thoughts about the Endura III, though all I wanted for it was a something like the hourglass clip with three screws insteads of the bolt design.

Wire clip scared me until I got the Translucent Manix 2. I love the style, and functionalisty, something I wouldn't have known until I tried it.

So, a redesign of the handle, eliminating the tip down carry option, plus a custom ground blade, since H-1 and FFG don't play well together in a production environment, all for "around 80 bucks". I'd rate the chances of it happening somewhere between non-existent even worse.

Plan B: Get a Pacific Salt. If the wire clip and FFG are important to you, save up and have someone outfit it with a Assist style wire clip and regrind the blade. If the color is important, get the yellow one and some RIT dye.

Since we are sharing our deepest secrets about wire clips and ponies, I'll throw down too. Here's what I want -

1 - G10 FFG Endura in Powernoodle Blue, which I have spoken of before, and

2 - Endura 4 FFG XL, with a 4.75" blade and the exact proportions of the current Endura 4.

The sooner we see these two on Amazon and ebay, the sooner Mr. Sal can afford another mansion for Mr. Eric.

I too wants to get my hand on a(probably 2 actually) FFG endura 4 in a deep rich blue G10 with a wireclip :D

Hey Powernoodle, wouldn't an endura 4 ffg xl be already offered as the police3 no? Personally, I think the Endura to be an already a big pocket knife, that is to say, just the right size. I just got the Manix 2 xl because I found that my Superleaf was left wanting a little in regards to size, but it's still an awesome blade.

That would be sick! I’ll take two XL Enduras with the powernoodle blue g10 and wire clips; and while you’re at it toss a couple River of Fire Damascus blades in there too would ya?:thumbup:

Eh, I don't really think so. The Powernoodle version of the Endura XL will have FRN scales, a deep clip and 4.75" blade - none of which are found on the Police (which is still a most excellent piece of knife).

I handled a blue-bone Endura and wow, it was a great feeling knife in the hand, shame to buy one as a user though. I wouldn't mind an Endura sprint that maintains that solid feeling but give it a ZDP blade and less bling.
