Hello everyone

So earlier this year I bought this full size Engage on the secondary. It's everything you would expect from a Cold Steel. Great action, heavy duty, built like a tank and solid lock up. It is an impressive knife!

Plus the Atlas lock is cool, no doubt.

Obviously from the photo you can tell I'm not a fan of the thumb stud. It's too big and kept catching my pocket. Legit my only gripe and it's a small one. I'll find a stud somewhere no biggie



So naturally I wanted to check out the 3" version as well and since they had orange... I went with that

The action is meh... Plastic handles... Not solid feeling at all... It's just not a comparable knife. I should have known from the price. My fault. There's nothing wrong with it... Just not what I expected.

There is a more expensive 3" version in S35VN that has liners and looks like it might be a smaller version of the full size one.

Does anyone have this seemingly nicer version of the engage 3"? Would you be willing to write a few words about what you think about it?

Thanks! Ah yes it is Atlas lock.... Thanks. Hard to keep up with all these marketing terms, lol

I removed the thumb stud it was unnecessarily large, double sided and kept catching my pocket.

Besides that, anyone please share any photos of any of the Engage models!

I have the 2.5 inch model. The ergonomics aren’t great on this model but despite that, I always forget how much I like it until I put it in my pocket or a thread like this one reminds me.

It’s nothing extraordinary. Just a good little knife.
