So, not knife related, but this project did involve my tempering kiln and the aid of my father who does jewelry repair. We teamed up and built this ring from scratch. She loves it.

Thanks, guys! I would like to plug the people over at 123proto.com
They supplied the waxes from my cad drawings and were really great to work with. I had to rely on their 3D printing machines to produce these waxes. There's no way I could have carved them by hand and we screwed up a few castings learning the process.
