Here is a beautiful bowie with Terry's plaid pattern Damascus. The overall length is about 15.5". Thick mammoth over a Damascus frame handle. The pins and liners are silicon bronze. This is my first Vandeventer knife and won't be my last.

Sheath picture in a few days.

That's a fine looking Bowie Jon and Terry. The Damascus is exceptional IMO.
Congrats. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

This was one of the few knives that I actually got to spend some real time studying at the show in Little Rock. If there was any possible way that I could have managed to buy it...this puppy would have come home with me! In Terry's usual fashion, everything is extremely well thought out and planned down to the smallest detail. Everywhere I could possibly look on it, there is something beautiful to see. The steel is absolutely mesmerizing and that tiny filework is so precise that it makes my head spin! There's really nothing about this piece that I don't like...Terry and Jon, congrats to you both! This one is just beautiful!

That knife is absolutely beautiful, I love everything about it. I would love to see it in the flesh.

WOW!! there's just so much going on here. You need to look at it for about 5 mins for it all to sink in. I think the damascus pattern certainly compliments the mammoth ivory. Great take on the old English Bowies. Though I think they would have been put to shame by that.

That is one hell of a knife ! Love everything about that, the damascus is way cool.Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers Keith
