Here are some slipjoints made by Geoff Hague in UK to the same design but in different sizes.
I have posted some of Geoff's knives before
The Capercaillie knife has a 3.5" blade and the Blackcock knife has a 3" blade. Both knives have fully fileworked liners and twisted ribbon filework to a section of the backspring.
The engraving is by Dario Cortini (Italy).
Geoff is currently making me a dagger which I may possibly have engraved on the bolster, but nothing as sumptuous as this...!
