been a while since posted (life's been busy and my new telescope has taking the bulk of free time!) and know it's not a fancy custom or le but after all the buidouts, customs and limited editions i've been buying them each time i get one myself but thought this year (they'll be 6 and 7) was time to get them their first Buck to use with me. they are both big promoters of Buck as they tell everyone that's what daddy uses and keep asking when they'll get their own (theyve not seen the stash they'll inherit (or their husbands!?! yet). looking at a pink 525 gent since it's a similar design to what they see me use all the time and once they "outgrow" it it'll always be a useful keepsake.

gotta say i am more excited about picking the first Buck to actually give them to use then i have been any of the ones i've bought for myself!

Thats great wings, my daughter was coveting every knife I'd get. She has quite a collection going.

Here is my favorite pic, from when she started.

thats what youre in for wings-not a bad way to go though:thumbup:

yeah, i'd say they've each got about 20 saved up now (diff handle 112s, 118D2, vantage pros and some alphas and 110s in 154 are the "nicer" ones (thanks web specials!) and then just some reg working ones like i use. they took marker and wrote Buck on the pretend knives in their play kitchen like our Kitchen knives have last year!

and agree with ya, not a bad way to go (and less expensive then dad's s&w/remington collection!).

and great pics! i'll have to be sure and show em to my girls so they can "relate"! best to ya!
