Knowing that I'll likely not get a chance to buy a "Relief Sebenza" of the lion or elephant and other animal (can't recall what it is), as those are likely happily tucked away in private collections, I decided to splurge on this small engraved Sebenza. Should be here tomorrow. It has been engraved by Tim George:

So your the one that was lucky enough to get this one, Congratulations and I'm glad you scored this one cuz now we'll get some more pictures and a video:D:thumbup:

Thanks MVG and tomhalv, it just spoke to me like a CRK whisperer :) JTR357, it is mother of pearl inlay.

I saw that one, too (briefly). I'm curious about the history if you know any details. It's very nicely done.

All I know at this point was that it was a "classic" sebenza that was sent to Tim George for custom engraving.
Likely a warranty voider, but I'm not worried. Didn't buy it to use it.

Lisa, you sure have your "Chris Reeve Radar" tuned well...

You find some of the most unique pieces I've ever seen.

Good work!

Such a beautiful knife and no one is going to use it. What a shame!
Nevertheless congratulation for your great new one.

Peter
