Engraved slipjoint as a gift?

I would like to get my 18 year old son an engraved slipjoint type knife, stockman, trapper etc as a gift. He has a quality fixed blade, clipit folder and SAK already, and I'd like to get him one of the traditional Case type slipjoints. I'm wondering if it is possible to order such an animal with some sort of engraving with his name or initials on either the handle or the blade?

Thanks
Wayne

You could buy the knife and then take it somewhere locally, like a jewelry shop, to have it engraved.

xxcutlery.com has several choices of lettering and where to place engraving. I have a mini copperhead engraved from there<good work

Exactly, + 1!

I did this some years back with a good kid(at the time) whom I was trying to influence and had a significant bible verse #:# engraved on the main blade of both our Case Trapper patterns.. It worked out quite well all the way around and was worth the effort in the end. :)
