Engraved SS Spydies???

Are there any engraved SS Spydies out there?

I think this would be the ultimate customization to a SS Police, Endura, Native II, Delica, or Dragonfly. The strength of the SS handle with added in texture and grippiness.

If not does anyone know what kind of steel is used in the handles of these knives?
Anybody know where this can be done to a Spydie?

I am just a curious and broke college student,

Fellow Spydie home forumite/dealer Glasshartt has had a few special engraved SS projects, with a web and Spyder laser engraved on the handle and blade. The SS Spydie list includes the Delica, Endura, and Dragonfly.

I tried posting some pics, but they wouldn't load. :mad: I can email some pics if you'd like.

I am really interested in a traditional pattern, like scrollwork, or a outdoors picture or something. Dont know why, but I think it would be cooler.:cool:

Glasshart is AWOL with family problems for the last couple of months, I emailed her ?husband? who said she would be back on when she gets done with the family emergency..... but who knows when that will be.

I have 2 knives on backorder for 2 months now :( :( , no one has heard rom her since may 20th.

I have an engraved SS Dragonfly PE that I've been trying to get from her for awhile now. Guess that patience is a virtue....:(
 
A friend of mine did this Police for me. I asked him to do a Celtic Knot pattern for me and this is what he came up with. Did it on a YAG Laser. He came upon hard times and had to sell the laser so he can not do any more.

Brooks Burt does an excellent job. I have a Pegasus that was engraved by him. I don't have a link to his website, but a Goggle search might turn him up.
