I want to get a custom 110 for a buddy of mine and I want to get a phrase engraved in it. The phrase is three words long so one of the words will have to go on the front bolster. does anybody have a picture of engraveing on both the blade and the front bolster so I can see the orientation, or can you describe it relative to the knife. I cant find any examples on Buck's site so any help would be grea.

Thanks in advance.

Does it have to be engraved??? Lots of companies, organizations, etc buy a number of knives and etch their logos, names, whatever on the blades. I've bought two such in the last year, commemorative knives for Forum members who passed away, and the etching looks very nice. You can specify fonts, and I would guess that more than one line could be etched.

There are even Do-It-At-Home etching kits. But a professional would be a good idea. :)

It doesn't have to be engraved. but it would certainly be simpler, and I'd imagine cheaper. If I don't think it looks right I probably would have it etched. engraveing seems more permanent to me.
